Ready to dive into another year of awesome humanities, arts, and social sciences research? The MIT INSPIRE Team is excited to be working on making INSPIRE even better in its second year! We’re reaching out to even more schools all across the nation. Here’s to a great INSPIRE 2016!
Drumroll please… The final round of INSPIRE 2016 will be from April 3 to April 5, once again hosted on the MIT campus! We can’t wait to see your submissions and hear more about your research.
Now is the perfect time to start thinking about research ideas, if you haven’t already. Whether you’re excited by literature or history, political science or music, we’re sure you can find a research topic to delve deep into. Pick a topic, find a mentor, and hit the ground running!
Our submission process will be a bit different this year. We’re first asking you to submit an “intent to participate form” by December 30, 2015. This will allow us to quickly assign you a project ID, which you will need in order to submit your research materials. The “intent to participate form” is non-binding: if you later decide to not submit a project for INSPIRE, you don’t have to. Once you receive your Project ID, you will be able to submit your abstract and then your report any time by the deadlines (mark your calendars!). The submission forms and the 2015-2016 Application Handbook have been posted. We highly suggest that you look over the handbook, as it’s a useful how-to guide for the entire application process. If you have any questions about our new submission process, ask away on our Contact Us page.
Looking forward to a new INSPIRing year with you all!
